(10-19-80) Green Bay Packers @ Cleveland Browns - Dave Logan Game - Brian Sipe connected with Dave Logan on an electrifying 46-yard touchdown pass with 16 seconds to play to lead the Cleveland Browns to a 26-21 win over the Green Bay Packers. Sipe, who hit on 24 of 39 passes for 391 yards and two touchdowns on the day, guided an 87-yard drive in the final two minutes of the game to win it. Robert Jackson's interception of a Lynn Dickey pass killed hopes for a Green Bay comeback in the final seconds, and spoiled an otherwise respectable day for Dickey. A 42-yard Don Cockroft field goal gave the Browns a 13-0 lead with 8:47 to play in the third period, but Dickey took control of the game through the middle of the next quarter, guiding the Packers to three straight touchdowns. Dickey scrambled seven yards for the first Packers score. Steve Luke's career essentially came to an end when he came on a blitz and hit Sipe in the knee with his head. Luke collapsed to the ground and laid there for 2 minutes. - full game on video

(10-18-92) Green Bay @ Cleveland Browns - Cleveland's "bend, don't break" defense made it 13 straight quarters without allowing a touchdown, and Kevin Mack scored twice as the Browns beat the visiting Green Bay Packers, 17-6. The Browns, concerned about their offense in recent weeks because of the loss of quarterbacks Bernie Kosar and Todd Philcox to injury, won for the third time in four games by limiting the Packers to a pair of field goals by Chris Jacke. Mack scored his 49th and 50th career touchdowns on short runs to cap the Browns' first two possessions of the second half. Mike Tomczak and Eric Metcalf connected on a 30-yard completion to set up the first, and Lawyer Tillman helped set up the second with an 18-yard reception, his first catch since 1989. Tillman missed the last two seasons with leg injuries. The Browns entered the game ranked 24th in the NFL defensively, giving up an average of 350 yards per game. But they've repeatedly stopped opponents in the red zone, yielding a league-low six touchdowns. It happened again Sunday, with the Packers getting inside the Cleveland 30 five times but coming away with only six points. Green Bay squandered two excellent chances late in the first half, fumbling the ball away twice in a span of 15 seconds. Darrell Thompson fumbled at the Cleveland 24, but the Browns' Leroy Hoard gave it back at the Cleveland 26 one play later. Vince Workman finished off the sorry sequence by fumbling again on the very next play. Three plays, three lost fumbles. The Packers' best chance for a touchdown came late in the third period, when they had a first down at the Cleveland 9. A sack, an incomplete pass and a fumbled snap from center stalled the drive, and Jacke settled for a 37-yard field goal. Brett Favre, starting his third straight game because of Don Majkowski's sprained ankle, completed 20 of 33 passes. - includes commercials (Quality 9.5)

(10-31-99) Cleveland Browns @ New Orleans Saints - The NFL return of the Browns saw many fans hoping for a 7-9 record for their comeback campaign. (12-23-01) Cleveland Browns @ Green Bay Packers - The Packers were back in the NFL playoffs for the first time since the 1998 season with a 30-7 win over the Browns. On a cold and snowy day tailor-made for a December game at Lambeau Field, the Green Bay defense paved the way for the win. Three Browns turnovers caused by the Packers defense lead to 21 points for Green Bay. Tyrone Williams' interception return for a touchdown as Cleveland was driving late in the second quarter, swung the game's momentum in favor of the Packers and it would never switch back. He added another interception to stall a second-half Cleveland drive. Rookie Bhawoh Jue hauled in his first NFL interception on Cleveland's opening drive to set the defensive tone of the game. Cleveland scored its only touchdown midway through the second quarter when Tim Couch hit running back Jamel White on a shovel pass for a 3-yard score. White finished the afternoon rushing 21 times for 131 yards, in addition to recording 9 receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown. Ahman Green bounced back after gaining only nine yards in the loss at Tennessee. He amassed 150 yards rushing on 21 carries, along with 3 receptions for 18 yards. It was Green's sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season tying Dorsey Levens (1997) for second place on the club's all-time single season record list. Jim Taylor recorded 7 such games during the 1962 season. - includes NFL Today pre-game, commercials, halftime (Quality 8.5)

(09-18-05) Cleveland Browns @ Green Bay Packers - The retirement of Reggie White's number couldn't inspire Green Bay past Cleveland. Trent Dilfer won for the first time in nine trips to Lambeau Field, guiding Cleveland over the Packers 26-24 for new coach Romeo Crennel's first win. Dilfer threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to Braylon Edwards and a game-icing 62-yarder to Steve Heiden with 1:50 remaining. Dilfer, who lost six times as a starter at Green Bay, once as a reserve and another time as an observer, completed 21 of 32 passes for 336 yards, the second-highest total of his career, and three touchdowns. The only time he threw for more yards was on Sept. 15, 2002, when he threw for 352 against Arizona. Brett Favre joined Dan Marino and John Elway in the 50,000-yard passing club Sunday. Favre entered Green Bay's game against Cleveland 65 yards shy of the mark, and reached the milestone on a 17-yard pass to running back Ahman Green in the second quarter.

(08-15-09) Cleveland Browns @ Green Bay Packers - Preseason - Aaron Rodgers tossed a 53-yard TD to Donald Driver and Ryan Grant rushed for a score, as Green Bay spoiled new head coach Eric Mangini's debut with the Browns. The Packers got all the offense they would need in an abbreviated stint from the first-teamers with a pair of scores on the first two possessions. Rodgers orchestrated a seven-play 78-yard opening drive that culminated in him finding Driver deep in the middle of the field for a 53-yard score. Green Bay's new defensive mind Dom Capers pitched a shutout in the team's first game implementing a 3-4 scheme. The Browns were held to 11 first downs, 191 total yards and were sacked three times. Green Bay had 392 total yards of offense and 25 first downs. - Includes Packers Pre-game, some commercials, Packers post-game - Added March, 2011

(10-25-09) Green Bay Packers @ Cleveland Browns - Aaron Rodgers tossed three touchdowns as the Packers had no problems with the Browns. Rodgers went 15-for-20 for 246 yards, while Ryan Grant had 27 carries for 148 yards and a score for the Packers, who have won two straight games after their bye week. Donald Driver, Spencer Havner and James Jones each caught a touchdown. Derek Anderson again struggled under center, as he went 12-for-29 for 99 yards and an interception for the Browns, who have dropped their past two games after a 6-3 win over Buffalo in Week 5. Jamal Lewis had 15 carries for 47 yards in the loss. On their first possession, the Packers faced a 4th-and-1 at the Cleveland 32 and went for it, but the Browns defense held firm and got the ball back. Cleveland then moved the ball 65 yards over 11 plays that ate up the rest of the first quarter, and on the first play of the second quarter, Billy Cundiff banked a 22-yard field goal off the left goalpost and in for a 3-0 lead. However, it was a short-lived lead, as Green Bay needed less than three minutes to take a 7-3 advantage. On the sixth play of the drive, Rodgers rolled out to avoid pressure and hit Havner, who ran down the right sideline and stretched into the end zone on a 45-yard score. - Includes FOX Pregame (Quality 9) - Added March, 2011

2010

(08-14-09) Cleveland Browns @ Green Bay Packers - Preseason - Phil Dawson made a pair of field goals with less than two minutes left in the game, as the Browns rallied past the Packers. Dawson made a 58-yard field goal with about 1 1/2 minutes remaining and a 46- yarder as time expired to give Cleveland the victory. The Browns, who are trying to rebound from a 5-11 record in 2009, upgraded at quarterback in the offseason by signing Jake Delhomme, who made both Pro Bowl and Super Bowl appearances during a seven-year run as starting quarterback of Carolina. Delhomme impressed in his Browns debut, completing 6- of-7 passes for 66 yards. Seneca Wallace was brought in as a serviceable backup after spending seven years in Seattle. He connected on 4-of-8 passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Colt McCoy, who was selected in the third round of the draft, threw two interceptions before leaving with a right hand injury. Jerome Harrison rushed for a TD, while Brian Robiskie and Benjamin Watson each caught a touchdown pass. Matt Flynn completed 9-of-15 passes for 69 yards and an interception for the Packers, who are coming off an 11-5 season. Green Bay's backfield suffered a bit of a blow as Ryan Grant left the game in the first quarter with a head injury. Grant, who fumbled on his first touch of the contest, rushed for just six yards on three carries. Kregg Lumpkin and John Kuhn each had a rushing TD. Greg Jennings led the receiving corps with three catches for 68 yards and a score. - (Quality 9.5) - Added March, 2011
